Who am I?

Portrait Audrey Le Meur

Born in Brest in 1992, I arrived in Ariège at the age of one when my parents, who were shopkeepers, chose to leave the ocean behind and settle at the foot of the mountains.

This region, both peaceful and inspiring, shaped my childhood and nurtured my sensitivity.

I am the “middle child” in a family of three. An older sister and a younger brother filled my life with laughter, complicity, and the precious bonds that shape a personality.

At the age of 13, my parents’ separation pushed me to find refuge in music, a world where I could express myself freely and fully. I retreated into my bubble, surrounded by my drums, my guitar, and my girls’ rock band. That’s when I began writing and performing my own songs, giving an honest voice to my emotions. Singing had already been part of my life from a very young age, but this period also awakened in me the desire to pursue a voice-related career. But for my mother, “it wasn’t a real job.”

My academic path, driven by a love for literature and culture, led me to earn a literary baccalaureate before moving on to a BTS in Animation and Local Tourism Management. This program, focused on promoting territories and sharing knowledge, allowed me to obtain my tour guide certification. Passionate about communication and technology, I then completed a professional degree in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). These studies not only opened new perspectives for me but also gave me the tools to combine creativity and innovation.

After my studies, I spent three years in the car rental sector at Toulouse-Blagnac airport, a field where I learned to handle customer expectations and daily challenges. But in 2016, my life changed dramatically. While I was five months pregnant with my first son, my older sister passed away suddenly. I lost a pillar in my life. This moment, both tragic and transformative, pushed me to reassess my priorities and seek a path more aligned with my values.

The irregular hours of my job no longer suited my new family reality, so I chose a new direction. I found meaning working for a healthcare service provider, where I contributed to improving people’s daily lives. But a deeper passion still drove me: voice over. This profession, which blends creativity, technique, and emotion, offered the perfect opportunity to combine my skills and sensitivity.

So in 2017, I took the leap and founded my own online voice over business.

I trained, worked hard, and prospected, and then in 2020… Covid. Lockdown prevented me from traveling to Paris to record the narration for a documentary. Fortunately, I was able to record it from home. That was also when the volume of work increased significantly, as remote work — which was already my daily routine — became the norm for everyone.

Since then, I have lent my voice to a wide variety of projects: advertising, corporate narration, animated character dubbing, children’s songs, sung commercials, and much more. Thanks to my professional home studio, I can deliver flawless sound quality and responsiveness tailored to my clients’ needs. Each project is a new adventure for me: an opportunity to tell a story, convey a message, or move an audience.

Today, I look back on my journey with gratitude. Every stage, every challenge has helped shape the person and the professional I have become. My mission is clear: to bring my voice, expertise, and heart to your projects with passion, authenticity, and professionalism.
